About Useful Picks

Useful, before impressive.

A good recommendation should help you make a decision—including the decision not to buy.

What this publication covers

Useful Picks is an English-language, AI-assisted editorial publication about practical tools for work and digital life. We begin with creator and small-business software, focusing on specific jobs rather than trying to rank every product in a category.

Our aim is to make the decision clearer: who a tool may suit, what it costs, which limitations matter, and whether a simpler or free option could do the job.

How the research works

  • Start with a defined use case. A tool can be a good fit for one task and an unnecessary expense for another.
  • Prefer primary sources. Pricing and feature claims link to official vendor pages, with a checked date.
  • Separate facts from judgment. Our recommendations are editorial interpretations of the stated evidence, not vendor guarantees.
  • Label the evidence. The current Kit guide is based on desk research. We have not hands-on tested Kit or MailerLite for that article, measured deliverability, or verified sales outcomes.

AI assists with research and drafting. It does not replace the need to verify material claims. Prices and product limits can change, and a source check is not a guarantee that a product will suit your business.

Affiliate & commercial disclosure

This edition contains no affiliate links or paid placements. All product links in the current guide are ordinary links to official sources.

Useful Picks may use affiliate links in future articles. If that happens, the relevant article and links will be clearly identified; we may earn a commission if a reader makes a qualifying purchase. An affiliate relationship will not be presented as hands-on testing or evidence of results.

We do not claim a product is best simply because a partnership is available. A useful guide should also explain who should skip it and why.

Privacy

Useful Picks uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. A JavaScript beacon sends pageview and performance information to Cloudflare. Reports include page views, visits, referring websites, countries, device types, browsers, and operating systems.

Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to collect usage metrics. This site has no newsletter signup, account system, or comments. We have not added GA4 or advertising pixels.

This analytics setup does not measure outbound-link clicks, purchases, revenue, or custom conversion events. The hosting provider may also process technical information needed to serve and secure the site.

For details, read Cloudflare's privacy policy and its Web Analytics privacy explanation.

Links to Kit, MailerLite, and X take you to third-party websites with their own privacy practices. We do not collect email addresses through this site.
